Charlie Whiskey had his two-month checkup yesterday--23.5", 12 pounds. So he's a bit tall for his weight, but well within normal tolerances. Still generally healthy and developing as one would hope (gave us a six-hour stretch of sleep last night). He's strong, too, and more accepting of tummy time than I remember Sierra Alfa being at this age.
She's coming along nicely, as well. Been sleeping better, sometimes taking naps in her new toddler bed, which looks like a train, but usually still preferring her crib--we'll push that transition in a month or two if it looks like it needs it. Until Charlie Whiskey starts getting too big for the bassinet, though, it shouldn't be necessary. Sierra Alfa's language is getting better, too--enunciation is clearer, vocab is growing fast, and she's starting to string words together (her record so far is three, which I think we first heard as "keys open car"). She's also become fascinated with letters and digits, which is neat. I think she can recognize and name (though not always with names others would recognize): A, B, C, K, L, M, O, P, R, S, T, W, Y, 1, 2, 3, and 5 pretty consistently. Others are less reliable, but she gets them sometimes (and, of course, it's a moving target).
